Stephen E. Kimpel, Principal, is responsible for initiating investment opportunities, structuring acquisitions, coordinating due diligence, negotiating transaction terms, working with Portfolio Company management teams, and managing the disposition of Stonehenge investments.

Prior to joining Stonehenge, Mr. Kimpel was a Vice President in the Merchant Banking Group of Banc One Capital Markets, where he was responsible for originating, processing and monitoring corporate mezzanine and equity investments, and for providing mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance advisory services. Mr. Kimpel joined Banc One Capital Markets, Inc. as an Associate in the Merchant Banking Group in 1991. Prior to his tenure with Banc One Capital Markets, Inc., Mr. Kimpel was employed in the Corporate Banking Division of Bank One, Columbus. Mr. Kimpel began his career with General Electric Company and Fifth Third Bank.

Mr. Kimpel serves on the Board of Directors or as an observer for E.B. Bradley Holdings, Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, Galco Industrial Electronics, Microdynamics Group, Print Communications, STACI and Tenere. Mr. Kimpel also serves as a member of The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute Foundation Board.

Mr. Kimpel received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Cincinnati, and a M.B.A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
